Simon and Phil founded CoreTec in 2002 to build a market presence and due-diligence capability and to support a specialist, Europe focussed, clean technologies fund.
Since 2002, CoreTec has built a demonstrable track-record of assisting industry developers, financiers and policy makers with their disparate industry requirements and a reputation for no-nonsense hands-on delivery in both bull and bear markets.
Specifically, CoreTec has completed multiple transactions across Europe and North America for technology developers at varying stages of commercial viability. This has included multi-million pound acquisitions, disposals, financings. CoreTec has acted for large industrial companies such as QinetiQ and small independent technology developers e.g. Cella, ACAL,ITM Power and IdaTech etc. It has also acted for quoted and unquoted financial sector participants including Collins Stewart, MTI Venture Partners, Libertas Capital, Investec and Seymour Pierce.
CoreTec has also completed industry advisory contracts for government organisations across Europe including the European Investment Bank, the European Commission, The Carbon Trust, the Technology Strategy Board and the Science & Technology Facilities Council.
